Prezly handbook

The Prezly team handbook is the central information hub for how we run the company. Everyone is open to work in this, the more this is being updated, the easier for everyone. Pitch in.

Why a handbook ?

We try to make our handbook extensive because it's essential to scale and adapt our organisation. So keeping it up to date is an important part of everyone`s job. The reasons for having an handbook:

1. Reading is much faster than listening
2. Reading is asyncronous, so you don't have to interrupt someone
3. Onboarding is easier if you can find relevant information spelled out
4. Teamwork is easier if you can read how other parts of the company work
5. Discussing changes is easier if the process is documented
6. Communicating change is easier if you can just point to a diff
7. Everyone can drive change by proposing a change (through a pull request)

Documenting stuff in the handbook takes time but it saves time in the long run.
