Holiday policy
There is no holiday policy and we don't track the time you spent working on weekends, nights, mornings either. So why should we track the days you spent relaxing?
Value nr 1: Results, not hours. So if you need 20, 30 or more holidays to reset your brain and be at your best @ Prezly that's up to you to decide.
No Holiday Policy doesn't mean no holidays
Take time off, come back inspired with big ideas. A good rule of thumb is to take a minimum of 2 full weeks of holiday during the year.
Practical
Since we're a small company we do want to schedule holidays accordingly, so we can guarantee a minimum level of service to help clients and fix high priority bugs. So when you want to take holidays:
- Notify your immediate team of your plans and see if there's no overlap. Add your holidays to timetastic.com.
- You remind the team a week before you're holiday, so everyone is aware an can plan accordingly. Monday all-hands are a perfect moment to announce holidays.
Public holidays
We've got people all over the world and that's great, but also means our public holidays are not synced. Of course you can take the public holidays on your location. Again make sure you made your team aware of your absence.
